Comstock Riverside Park

This is easily one of my favorite parks to photograph in. There’s always parking and there’s never too much traffic. People are nice and the squirrels are more friendly than the ones at MSU. It’s a great location to mix with a downtown GR session.

Features: Weeping Willow trees, River, City Skyline (although small), Trees, Black iron bridge, Large ponds

Bathroom / Changing Areas: Bathrooms are available, although seasonal

Accessibility: High

Terrain Difficulty: Low

Pros: Good amount of shade, the weeping willows are very unique looking, good area for sunset

Cons: Goose ‘scat’ near the ponds, can be flooded dependent on recent rains

Parking: Park in the lot near the boat drop off, enter through Guild Street NW. There is no cost for parking.
